Standard&Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its 'AA+' long-term rating and 'A+' underlying rating to Greene County School District R-II (Willard), Mo.'s series 2015A and B general obligation (GO) refunding bonds. At the same time, we affirmed our existing 'AA+' and 'A+' ratings on the district's previously issued debt. The outlook is stable. Management intends to use the series 2015A bond proceeds to advance crossover refund its existing series 2007 GO bonds for interest cost savings. The 'AA+' rating and stable outlook on the series 2015A bonds reflect the long-term U.S. sovereign rating, and our expectation of the district purchasing an escrow consisting of U.S. government securities, which, along with cash, will pay interest on the bonds through a
