Lane County Unified School District No. 482 (Dighton), KS Rating Placed On CreditWatch Negative; Remains On UCO

ENGLEWOOD (S&P Global Ratings) Jan. 31, 2025--S&P Global Ratings placed its 'A' underlying rating (SPUR) on Lane County Unified School District No. 482 (Dighton), Kan.'s existing general obligation bonds (GO) on CreditWatch with negative implications. The rating remains under criteria observation (UCO). "The CreditWatch placement reflects our view of a lack of timely and sufficient information to maintain the rating as we have been unable to reach management after multiple attempts," said S&P Global Ratings credit analyst Alex Louis. The CreditWatch placement further reflects a one-in-two chance that we could lower or withdraw the rating within 30 days.
