The iShares exchange-traded fund (ETF) holds a diversified portfolio of U.S. Treasury bonds maturing between Jan. 1, 2031, and Dec. 15, 2031. The fund is a term fund that will terminate on or around Dec. 15, 2031, at which time it will distribute its remaining net assets to shareholders pursuant to a plan of liquidation. The iShares iBonds Dec 2031 Term Treasury ETF seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of U.S. Treasury bonds maturing in 2031.
