Abstract:

NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) May 25, 2022--S&P Global Ratings today said it affirmed its 'A-f' fund credit quality rating (FCQR) on the iShares USD Green Bond ETF (BGRN) and lowered the fund volatility rating (FVR) to 'S3' from 'S2'. We had placed the ratings on CreditWatch with developing implications in February pending the change of the underlying index of the fund from a global green bond index to a USD green bond. The CreditWatch developing reflected our view that the FCQR and FVR could change given the amended investment objective. The change to the underlying index took effect on March 1, and at that time, the fund name was changed from iShares
