NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) Oct. 14, 2021--S&P Global Ratings today assigned its 'BBBf/S2' fund credit quality rating (FCQR) and fund volatility rating (FVR) to the iShares USD Bond Factor ETF sponsored by BlackRock Inc. The iShares ETF holds a diversified portfolio of investment-grade and speculative-grade U.S dollar-denominated bonds. Component securities include U.S. Treasury bonds, mortgage-backed pass-through securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, and investment-grade and speculative-grade U.S. and non-U.S. corporate bonds. The iShares USD Bond Factor ETF seeks to track the investment results of the Blackrock USD Bond Factor Index, which consists of a broad set of bonds across U.S dollar-denominated fixed-income classes, including investment-grade and speculative-grade bonds, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities, and Treasury bonds.
