Standard&Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'AA+' underlying rating and 'AA+' long-term rating Saratoga Springs City School District, N.Y.'s existing debt. The outlook is stable. The district's faith and credit GO pledge secures the bonds. The 'AA+' long-term rating is based on our view of the district's: Participation in the diverse regional employment base of the Albany-Schenectady-Troy metropolitan statistical area; Extremely strong wealth and income; Healthy operations that have contributed to what we consider strong finances; and Low debt with limited capital and debt needs, but high pension and other postemployment benefit (OPEB) liabilities.
