S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA+' long-term rating to the Saratoga Springs City School District (CSD), N.Y.'s general obligation (GO) 2017 school district serial bonds. In addition, we affirmed our 'AA+' long-term rating on the district's existing GO debt. The outlook is stable. Saratoga Springs CSD's faith and credit GO pledge secures the new and previously issued bonds, with the New York State Aid Intercept Program providing additional security. Proceeds will be used for capital improvements to the district's transportation facility, as well as for the procurement of school buses and other vehicles.
