The ratings on Poland are supported by Standard&Poor's Ratings Services' view of the country's competitive and increasingly diversified economy, and its comparatively strong GDP per capita growth of almost 4% in the medium term. The ratings are constrained by our view of Poland's relatively high and rising levels of government debt, comparatively low per capita GDP, and the large role of the public sector in the economy.
