Growth prospects for the Polish economy are projected to remain sound, supported by relatively low levels of household debt and prospects for further productivity gains relative to its major trading partners. We are therefore affirming our 'A-/A-2' foreign currency and 'A/A-1' local currency sovereign credit ratings on the Republic of Poland. The stable outlook balances our assessment of Poland's relatively strong medium-to-long-term economic growth prospects against the need to check fiscal imbalances.
