Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA+' rating and stable outlook to Eastport-South Manor Central School District, N.Y.'s series 2016 school district general obligation (GO) serial bonds and affirmed its 'AA+' rating, with a stable outlook, on the district's parity debt. The rating reflects our opinion of the district's: Access to strong local economies throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties; Very strong incomes and extremely strong wealth; Good financial management practices, contributing to the maintenance of a strong general fund balance; and Significant state reimbursement for debt service, leading to low-to-moderate debt.
