NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Dec. 3, 2010--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today it assigned its 'AAAf' fund credit quality rating and its 'S2' fund volatility rating to iShares Barclays 0-5 Year TIPS Fund, managed by BlackRock Fund Advisors. The iShares Barclays 0-5 Year TIPS Fund is one of more than 180 investment portfolios of the iShares Trust (the Trust). The Trust was organized as a Delaware statutory trust on Dec. 16, 1999, and is authorized to have multiple series of portfolios. The Trust is an open-end management investment company registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended.
