Standard&Poor's Ratings Services expects DuPont's earnings to be weaker than previously anticipated following sustained challenges in the company's operating environment. As a result, we believe credit will deteriorate to levels inconsistent with current ratings. We are lowering our ratings, including our corporate credit rating to 'A-' from 'A', by one notch.
