...NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) May 13, 2015--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that its ratings and outlook on E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co. (A/Negative/A-1) remain unchanged following the reported outcome of the shareholder vote that has resulted in the activist investor not winning any seats on the company's board. However, our rating outlook remains negative, reflecting our assessment that there is at least a one in three chance that we could lower the rating in 2015. Though our ratings remain unchanged currently, the potential of a protracted battle between the activist investor and the company remains a risk to credit quality. We view an increase in activist investor influence in this instance as a negative credit factor. We will continue to monitor the situation actively.
