Standard&Poor's Ratings Services has affirmed ORIX Corp.'s Corporate Governance Score of CGS-7+. The score reflects ORIX's strong and continuously improving corporate governance structures and practices on an international basis of comparison. The score on Standard&Poor's 10-point CGS scale reflects progress in several areas as well as certain areas of concern. The following areas of improvement are noted: ORIX's ongoing commitment to facilitating shareholder participation in annual shareholder meetings; Improved disclosure of operations and operating results, included detailed sector analysis and investor-oriented analytical aids; Ongoing initiatives to improve internal controls to meet the requirements
