BOSTON (Standard&Poor's) March 4, 2016--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services raised its rating on Atlanta's general obligation (GO) to 'AA+' from 'AA'. At the same time, we raised our ratings on the Atlanta&Fulton County Recreation Authority's series 2007A, 2007B, and 2010 bonds, and the debt of the Atlanta Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Atlanta Public Safety&Judicial Facilities Authority, Atlanta Solid Waste Management Authority, and Atlanta Urban Residential Finance Authority. These obligations are all supported by the city. The outlook on all the ratings is stable.
