OVERVIEW Vermont Student Assistance Corp.'s issuance is an ABS transaction backed by private fixed-rate student loans made under Vermont Student Assistance Corp.'s Student Advantage and Parent Advantage loan programs. We assigned our preliminary ratings to the series 2020A bonds. The preliminary ratings reflect our view of the transaction's available credit support, expected initial parity ratios, and payment and legal structures, as well as the credit quality of both the existing loans and the loans to be originated, among other factors.
