OVERVIEW We reviewed Vermont Student Assistance Corp.'s (VSAC's) senior series 2014A, an ABS transaction backed by a pool of private fixed-rate student loans made under VSAC's loan program. We raised our rating on one bond and at the same time affirmed our ratings on 13 bonds from the transaction. The upgrade reflects the bond's short term to maturity and the affirmations reflect our view that the current credit enhancement levels coupled with strong collateral performance are sufficient to support the existing ratings.
