Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA+' long term rating to Stoddard County R-XI School District (Dexter), Mo.'s series 2012 general obligation (GO) refunding bonds. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'AA+' long-term rating on the district's existing GO bonds, reflecting the district's participation in the Missouri Direct Deposit Program. The outlook is stable. The rating reflects the school district's eligibility for, and participation in, the Missouri Direct Deposit of State Aid program, in which the state makes direct deposits of portions of monthly state aid payments to a bond trustee.
