S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA+' long-term rating to Vernon County R-V School District (Nevada), Mo.'s $10.0 million series 2021 general obligation (GO) bonds. The outlook is stable. The bond proceeds will be used to construct a new elementary school; to repair and replace roofs; to upgrade heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; to complete improvements to the football stadium; and acquire land for future district expansion. The long-term rating reflects our assessment of the district's eligibility for, and participation in, the Missouri Direct Deposit of State Aid program.
