S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA-' long-term rating to Kentwood Public Schools, Mich.'s $9.96 million 2020 general obligation (GO) school building and site bonds, series III, and affirmed its 'AA-' rating on the district's outstanding bonds. The outlook is stable. The bonds are secured by the full faith credit and unlimited ad valorem property tax pledge of the district. The bonds are also the final of three series of bonds to be issued under the 2015 authorization and proceeds will be used to fund various capital improvement projects for the district.
