Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA+' rating, and stable outlook, to Eastport-South Manor Central School District, N.Y.'s series 2009 school district serial bonds. In our opinion, the rating reflects the district's: Access to strong local economies throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties; Very strong wealth and income indicators; Strong financial management and reserve position; and Low debt levels, attributable to significant state reimbursement for debt service. The district's full faith and credit pledge secures the bonds, payable from ad valorem taxes levied on all taxable real property within the district.
