S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA+' long-term rating to Cass County School District R-III (Pleasant Hill), Mo.'s series 2018 general obligation (GO) bonds. The outlook is stable. The 'AA+' rating reflects our view of the school district's eligibility for, and participation in, the Missouri Direct Deposit of State Aid Program. Proceeds of the bonds will be used to make various improvements throughout the district for safety needs, room upgrades, and roof replacements. In 1995, the Missouri Legislature adopted Senate Bill 301 that established a program to assist Missouri school districts with their financing needs. This rating moves in tandem with the state GO rating, keeping the relative rating differential between the program and state GO rating constant. Any school district
