S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA+' long-term rating to Cass County R-III School District (Pleasant Hill), Mo.'s $6.0 million series 2022A general obligation (GO) bonds. The outlook is stable. The bond proceeds will be used to renovate the primary and elementary schools, construct a new primary school library addition and new elementary school cafeteria addition, expand the middle school library, install a new hard-surface play area and rebrand the gymnasium at the intermediate school, complete improvements at the middle school, and repair roofs at the middle school and high school. The long-term rating reflects our assessment of the district's eligibility for, and participation in, the Missouri Direct Deposit of State Aid program.
