NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) June 5, 2003--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today assigned its 'BBB' rating to Structured Asset Trust Unit Repackagings (SATURNS) Altria Group Inc. Debenture Backed Series 2003-9's $51.555 million 7.125% callable class A units and 0.60366% interest-only callable class B units. At the same time, Standard & Poor's placed the rating on CreditWatch with negative implications. The rating reflects the credit quality of the underlying securities, Altria Group's $51.555 million 7.75% debentures due Jan. 15, 2027 (BBB/Watch Neg); and addresses the likelihood of the trust making payments on the units as required under the trust agreement. The rating does not address the likelihood that the issuer of the underlying assets will continue to file periodic reports
