We are affirming our 'A' long-term issuer credit and senior unsecured debt ratings and 'A-1' short-term rating on the Province of Prince Edward Island. In part, the ratings reflect our assessment of the province's average economy, strong financial management, and high-but-improving debt burden. The stable outlook reflects our expectations that, in the next two years, Prince Edward Island's tax-supported debt will not exceed 180% of projected consolidated operating revenues and its after-capital deficits will not exceed 10% of total adjusted revenues.
