OVERVIEW We are affirming our ratings, including our 'A' long-term issuer credit rating, on the Province of Prince Edward Island. In part, the ratings reflect our assessment of the province's stable economy, "positive" financial management, and budgetary deficits. The stable outlook reflects our expectations that, in the next two years, Prince Edward Island's tax-supported debt will not exceed 180% of projected consolidated operating revenues and its after-capital deficits will not exceed 10% of total adjusted revenues. The outlook also reflects our expectation that financial management will remain prudent and reliable.
