S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA+' long-term program-enhanced rating and 'A+' underlying rating to Johnson County School District R-VI (Warrensburg) , Mo.'s approximately $19.8 million series 2025 general obligation (GO) school building and refunding bonds, reflecting the application of its, " Methodology For Rating U.S. Governments " criteria, published Sept. 9, 2024, on RatingsDirect. At the same time, we affirmed our ?AA+? long-term rating and 'A+' underlying rating on the district's existing GO bonds. The outlook is stable. The long-term program-enhanced rating reflects our view of the district's eligibility for, and participation in, the Missouri Direct Deposit of State Aid program. Revenue from an unlimited ad valorem tax on all taxable property in the district also secures the GO bonds.
