We have affirmed our ratings on Genworth Financial and its U.S. life operating companies and removed the ratings from CreditWatch. We have raised our ratings on Genworth's U.S. mortgage insurance units and removed them from Creditwatch. The negative outlook reflects various risks faced by Genworth and its operating subsidiaries. On Sept. 14, 2015, Standard&Poor's Ratings Services removed its ratings on Genworth Financial Inc. and its U.S. life insurance and mortgage insurance operating companies from CreditWatch Developing, where they were initially placed April 30, 2015.
