In our view, Denmark benefits from a mature institutional framework, sound public finances, and an open and prosperous economy. We are therefore affirming our 'AAA/A-1+' ratings on Denmark. The stable outlook reflects the depth of Denmark's economic, fiscal, external, and monetary buffers. On March 27, 2015, Standard&Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'AAA' long-term and 'A-1+' short-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings on the Kingdom of Denmark.
