S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'A' issuer credit rating (ICR) on the Colorado School of Mines Foundation (CSM Foundation), Colo. The outlook is stable. The foundation has no long-term debt outstanding. An ICR reflects the obligor's general creditworthiness and is not specific to a given debt issue as it does not consider the security and other credit and legal characteristics of a given debt issue. The CSM Foundation receives and manages contributions for the sole benefit of the Colorado School of Mines (CSM, or the university), and the foundation invests CSM's endowment.
