On Jan. 27, American Airlines affirmed debt that collateralizes its 2001-1 pass-through certificates. We are raising our rating on the 2001-1 Class A1 certificates to 'CCC+' from 'CC', and raising our ratings on the Class B and Class C certificates to 'CCC' from 'C'. We are removing our ratings on these issues from CreditWatch. On Feb. 3, 2012, Standard&Poor's Ratings Services raised its ratings on the 2001-1 Class A1, Class B, and Class C certificates of AMR Corp. subsidiary American Airlines Inc. (both rated 'D').
