Plenary Health Hamilton L.P. (ProjectCo) entered into an agreement with St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH) to design, finance, build, and maintain a new mental health and addiction care hospital, and to demolish the existing facility. The hospital, in Hamilton, Ont., has 305 mental health and addiction inpatient beds in addition to mental health and medical outpatient clinics, education and research space, and areas for clinical, administrative, and facility support. The facility has three occupied levels above grade and one below. SJHH makes monthly payments to the project, consisting of a fixed capital payment as well as inflation-indexed operations and maintenance (O&M) and lifecycle payments.
