DALLAS (Standard&Poor's) May 22, 2014--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today it assigned its 'A-1+' short-term rating to the following note issues from the Nashville&Davidson County Metropolitan Government (Metro), Tenn.: Series 2014 general obligation (GO) extendable commercial paper (ECP) notes. Series A-1 general obligation (GO) commercial paper (CP) bond anticipation notes, and Series A-2 GO CP bond anticipation notes. "The 'A-1+' rating is based on our view of the city's strong general creditworthiness (AA/Stable GO debt rating)," said Standard&Poor's credit analyst Russell Bryce.
