SAN FRANCISCO (Standard&Poor's) Aug. 14, 2014--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA' rating to the Los Angeles Harbor Department, Calif.'s $207.8 million 2014 series A, $90.6 million 2014 series B, and $45.3 million 2014 series C senior-lien revenue and refunding bonds. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the port's debt outstanding. The outlook is stable. "The ratings are based on our view of the port's continued very strong business position, stable portfolio of assets, and excellent historical financial performance," said Standard&Poor's credit analyst Mary Ellen Wriedt.
