Greenwood County, South Carolina Self Regional Healthcare; Hospital; System

S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'A+' rating to Greenwood County, S.C.'s series 2021 and series 2022 tax-exempt revenue refunding bonds, issued on behalf of Self Regional Healthcare (Self, or Self Regional). We also affirmed our existing 'A+' rating on the county's series 2012B and 2017 bonds, also issued for Self Regional. The outlook on all ratings is stable. Proceeds from the series 2021 and 2022 bonds, along with anticipated premiums, are expected to total around $80 million and will fully refund the series 2012A and 2012B bonds. No new debt is expected as a result of this transaction. The series 2021 bonds will refund Self's unrated, directly placed series 2012A bonds, which have a mandatory tender in May 2022. The
