NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Dec. 8, 2010-- Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it assigned its 'BBB-' senior unsecured debt rating to Princeton, N.J.-based Church&Dwight Co. Inc.'s proposed $250 million five-year notes maturing in 2015. This represents a draw-down under the company's existing 415 shelf program. Proceeds from the new debt issuance will be used to redeem the company's existing $250 million 6 % subordinated notes due Dec. 15, 2012. We will withdraw the rating on the subordinated notes upon full redemption. The ratings on Church&Dwight (BBB-/Stable/--) incorporate the company's diversified product portfolio and its established consumer brands, including Arm&Hammer, Trojan, OxiClean, First Response, Spinbrush, and Orajel; its stable operating performance;
