...March 1, 2024 NEW YORK (S&P Global Ratings) March 1, 2024--S&P Global Ratings today said that its ratings on agribusiness company Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM; A/Watch Neg/A-1), including our 'A' long-term issuer credit rating, remain on CreditWatch, where we placed them with negative implications on Jan. 23, 2024. The ratings remain on CreditWatch because the company filed a form 12b-25 today stating that it is unable to file its annual report for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2023, before the end of the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort and expense. ADM currently expects to file its annual report by March 15, 2024, which is within the fifteen-calendar-day extension period permitted under the rule. If the company submits the filing prior to this revised deadline, we would not view the delay as a material negative development.
