American Airlines' 2016-1 Pass-Through Certificates Assigned Preliminary 'AA (sf)', 'A (sf)', And 'BBB (sf)' Ratings

NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Jan. 12, 2016--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services today assigned its preliminary 'AA (sf)' issue-level rating to American Airlines Inc.'s series 2016-1 class AA pass-through certificates (with an expected maturity date of Jan. 15, 2028). At the same time, we assigned our preliminary 'A (sf)' issue-level rating to the company's series 2016-1 class A pass-through certificates (with an expected maturity date of Jan. 15, 2028). Additionally, we assigned our preliminary 'BBB (sf)' issue-level rating to American Airlines' series 2016-1 class B certificates (with an expected maturity date of Jan. 15, 2024).
