...BOSTON (S&P Global Ratings) Nov. 10, 2017--S&P Global Ratings assigned its '##' long-term rating to the State of Wisconsin's general obligation (GO) 2017 series B bonds. S&P Global Ratings also affirmed its '##' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the state's previously issued GO bonds and its '##-' ratings on the state's appropriation-backed debt outstanding, as well as its 'A' ratings on bonds backed by the state's moral-obligation pledge and debt issued by the Wisconsin Center District, secured by state appropriations. Finally, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'A-1+' short-term rating on Wisconsin's GO commercial paper (CP) and extended municipal CP programs. The outlook on all long-term ratings is stable.
