SAN FRANCISCO (Standard&Poor's) July 29, 2014--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services raised its long-term and underlying (SPUR) ratings to 'A-' from 'BBB+' on Colorado Health Facilities Authority's series 2006, 2007, and 2008 hospital revenue bonds, issued for the Valley View Hospital (VVH). The outlook is stable. "The raised rating reflects our view of VVH's sound history of operating results, balance sheet improvement, and a solid business position in a growing service area," said Standard&Poor's credit analyst Geraldine Poon. "The rating is further supported by our view of the strong management team, sound balance sheet, and limited capital spending plans going forward," Ms. Poon added.
