Abstract:

NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) Feb. 14, 2007--Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today that it raised its ratings on U.S. Bancorp (USB), including its counterparty credit ratings to 'AA/A-1+' from 'AA-/A-1'. Standard&Poor's also raised its long-term counterparty credit ratings on USB's subsidiaries, U.S. Bank National Association and U.S. Bank National Association, ND, to 'AA+' from 'AA'. These ratings were removed from CreditWatch Positive, where they had been placed on Nov. 1, 2006. The CP ratings on these entities, which had not been on CreditWatch, were affirmed at 'A-1+'. The outlook is stable.
