NEW YORK (Standard&Poor's) July 11, 2005-- Standard&Poor's Ratings Services said today it would monitor traffic and revenue associated with two Florida bridges most affected by Hurricane Dennis, which struck on Sunday near Pensacola. Reports have stated that Dennis came ashore as a Category 3 hurricane on Santa Rosa Island Sunday afternoon, with winds up to 120 mph and storm surges higher than 10 feet. During previous hurricane events, traffic and revenue (T&R) are negatively affected due to mandated toll suspension, and subsequent damage to the region and roadway network.
