We recently raised our ratings on Türkiye Is Bankasi AS, the parent of Istanbul-based Milli Reasurans T.A.S. (Milli Re), to 'BB+' from 'BB' following a similar rating action on the Republic of Turkey. As a result, our view of the quality of Milli Re's investments and financial profile has improved. We are therefore raising our Turkey national scale rating on Milli Re to 'trAA+' from 'trAA'.
