Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AAA' long-term rating and stable outlook to the Town of West Hartford, Conn.'s 2016A general obligation (GO) bonds. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'AAA' rating on the town's GO debt outstanding. The outlook is stable. A pledge of the town's full faith and credit secures the bonds. We understand the town will use bond proceeds to finance improvements to town and school infrastructure.
