S&P Global Ratings has assigned its 'A+' rating to Vermilion County Community Consolidated School District (CUSD) No. 118, Ill.'s (Danville) series 2020 general obligation (GO) refunding school bonds. S&P Global Ratings has also affirmed its 'A+' rating on the school district's outstanding GO debt. The outlook is stable. The district's GO debt is secured by the district's unlimited ad valorem tax pledge. The series 2020 proceeds will be used to refund the district's series 2011A bonds for interest cost savings. The district's weak economic indicators continue to be the primary credit weakness, including market values and incomes.
