S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'AA' long-term rating to University of Kentucky's (UK) $30.63 million 2017 series A general receipts refunding bonds and $7.48 million 2017 series B general receipts refunding bonds. In addition, S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating on UK's various existing general receipts bonds that are currently outstanding totaling approximately $971.12 million. The outlook is stable on all rated issues. As of UK's fiscal year end, June 30, 2016, its outstanding long-term debt, inclusive of capitalized leases and notes, totaled $1.04 billion, with a similar amount outstanding as pro forma debt post issuance of the series 2017A and series 2017B issues.
