The rating on Greenwood County, S.C.'s bonds, issued for Self Memorial Hospital, is based on: Continued financial strength, evidenced by sound operations and a strong balance sheet that is providing short-term financial flexibility as the hospital implements its cardiac program; A solid business position, as Self is the regional referral center in its seven-county service area; and Consistent growth in business volumes.
