The rating reflects, in our opinion, the district's: + Participation in the diverse Milwaukee metropolitan area economy, + Strong income levels as measured by median household effective buying income, + Very strong general fund reserves paired with good financial management practices, and + Low net debt as a percent of market value with rapid amortization. The district will use bond proceeds to refund its note anticipation notes outstanding, issued in July 2008. The district's unlimited-tax GO pledge secures debt service payment on the bonds. The 27-square-mile Port Washington-Saukville School District is approximately 25 miles north of Milwaukee in Ozaukee County.
