Standard&Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA' long-term rating to the Nashville&Davidson County Metropolitan Government (Metro), Tenn.'s series 2015A and 2015B general obligation refunding bonds. At the same time, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'AA' long-term and underlying rating (SPUR) on Metro's existing general obligation (GO) bonds. Finally, Standard&Poor's affirmed its 'AA-' long-term rating on Metro's existing appropriation debt, issued by the Nashville&Davidson County Metropolitan Government Sports Authority and Public Finance Authority.
