S&P Global Ratings affirmed its 'A-' long-term rating on Murray County Educational Facilities Authority, Okla.'s outstanding lease revenue bonds, issued on behalf of the Murray County Independent School District No.1 (Sulphur), based on the application of its "Methodology For Rating U.S. Governments" criteria, published Sept. 9, 2024, on RatingsDirect, and removed it from Under Criteria Observation (UCO). The outlook is stable. The lease revenue bonds are secured by annual lease payments from the district to the authority, subject to annual appropriation. Revenue for lease payments primarily comes from the district's issuance of general obligation bonds.
